Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of coins (prepaid credits) and usage of sessions within SpeakSmart AI. Coins are typically non-refundable after successful delivery, with limited exceptions described below.
Eligibility
- Coin pack purchases made through our official checkout within the last 7 days.
- No coins from the order have been spent; or, only failed runs occurred (see below).
- Payment is captured and visible in your billing history.
What’s Refundable
- Duplicate purchases of the same coin pack within 24 hours.
- Unauthorized payments reported with evidence and within 7 days.
- Technical issues at purchase where coins were not delivered but payment succeeded.
- Goodwill refunds at our discretion for first-time users (pro-rated if any coins were used successfully).
We may request additional verification to protect against fraud.
Failed Runs & Retries
- When a session fails due to our systems, we automatically retry.
- If retries fail, coins are not deducted or are instantly credited back.
- If coins were deducted in error, contact support and we will restore them after verification.
Cancellations
Coin packs are delivered immediately and are not subscriptions. You can stop using the service at any time. Unused coins are generally not refundable, except as described under Eligibility and What’s Refundable.
How to Request a Refund
- Gather your order ID, payment reference, and the email used for purchase.
- Email @gmail.com with the subject “Refund Request”.
- Describe the reason (duplicate, unauthorized, non-delivery, etc.).
- We’ll acknowledge within 2 business days and may request verification.
Timelines
- Refund decisions are typically made within 5–7 business days.
- If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Bank/UPI/card settlements may take an additional 3–10 business days.
Exceptions
- Abuse of refunds, excessive disputes, or policy violations.
- Coins transferred or sold (prohibited) are not eligible.
- Significant usage of coins after purchase unless due to failed runs.
Coin Expiry
Coins are valid for 12 months from purchase. Expired coins cannot be refunded, reinstated, or exchanged.
We send reminders before expiry where feasible.
Chargebacks & Disputes
If you dispute a payment with your bank or wallet provider, please also contact our support with details so we can help resolve quickly. Unresolved chargebacks may result in account holds or suspension.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where required, we will honor statutory cooling-off periods or mandatory refund obligations.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top and, when appropriate, notify you through the service or by email.
